مَعْهَد \ institute: a group formed for some serious purpose (study, the interests of a skilled or learned class, etc.); the group’s offices or building: a workers’ evening institute; the Institute of Electrical Engineers. \ مَعْهَد دِراسيّ \ school: a place where people of any age are taught some special subject or skill: a music school; a driving school. \ مَعْهَد عالٍ \ college: a school for higher education or for a special subject.
